Muslim extremists have been particularly psychotic this weekend, in Kenya: reuters/article/2013/09/22/us-kenya-attack-idUSBRE98K03V20130922?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&rpc=76; and in Pakistan, attacking a Christian worship service, wounding and killing about 200 churchgoers: hosted2.ap.org/APDEFAULT/3d281c11a96b4ad082fe88aa0db04305/Article_2013-09-22-Pakistan/id-74c7ee10499447caabc3c68b9275bfdc. A couple of my friends from law school left that Nairobi mall only minutes before the terrorist attack. They are fine, thankfully, but not everyone they know is so lucky. All right thinking people, of course, continue studiously to ignore that only Muslims commit this kind of wanton, religious violence, and that they do so with predictable regularity, but why? Until we can have an honest conversation about this problem, it will only get worse.
