Musona rules out SA return Johannesburg - Former Kaizer Chiefs forward, Knowledge Musona, is uncertain about his future at German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, but has ruled out a return to South Africa. According to the Soccer-Laduma website, after joining Hoffenheim in July 2011, Musona failed to command a regular place in the team and was then loaned out to Augsburg where he spent the length of this season, however, once again he struggled to break into the first team. Although he still has three years left to run on his Hoffeinheim contract, the 22-year-old is not sure where his future lies. He told the Siya crew, “I am not yet sure if I am going back to Hoffenheim because they have not said anything at the moment. I am waiting to hear of my next move from my management team. “My first season at Hoffeinheim was tough since it was my debut time in Germany, but at Augsburg I started well before some new players were brought in by the club." Despite his situation, Musona ruled out a possible return to South Africa after there has been rumours that to be on his way back to Chiefs. “I still want to play in Europe. It might not be in Germany but just in Europe. The level of football that side is very high and I still want to improve my game so I have to stay there,” he said. While he has not been getting much game time in Germany, Musona has remained the star player of the Zimbabwe national team is currently in camp with the Warriors preparing for Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
