Mutual Aid Question From a Brother: Returning from a medical call, - TopicsExpress

Mutual Aid Question From a Brother: Returning from a medical call, while sitting at a busy intersection, you are dispatched to a structure fire just a few blocks away. Do you stop to let everyone get dressed out right there (due to seatbelt requirements now, as well as the tight cabs that we have now that make getting dressed on the way very difficult) or just shoot over to the scene and get dressed out on arrival? What does everyone think is better? Showing up at a potentially chaotic scene not dressed out yet, or taking an extra 30 or 45 seconds to get ready where you are and roll up ready to go?
