My 13 y/o lab has had this hot spot for over 6 months that she will not let heal. We have tried EVERYTHING: bitter spray (she enjoyed the taste, licked it more), 2 rounds of antibiotics, steroids, head cone (i.e. cone of shame, she ate threw it), E collar, bandage with velcro and duck tape (chewed it off), sedatives (she became incontinent), pain meds, and anti-anxiety meds. Went to 2 vets and they have the same treatment plan...antibiotics and steroids. I will not give up on this! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
