My 40 day journey of self-discovery continues to inspire and awaken me. Today, I reflect on the words of poet Alexander Smith who wrote: Love is but the discovery of ourselves in others, and the delight in the recognition. What is present for me today is how deeply grateful I am for my relationship with my beloved, Jai. As our love for one another continues to deepen and grow, a wonderful, safe space has opened up for me – a space where my thoughts will be heard and my where dreams are understood – knowing this fills me with unending joy. Through his presence, his showing up for me and, yes, even in those uncomfortable moments when I would really rather not see or say; I am encouraged and supported to take a look at what is really going on and to speak my truth – for that support and encouragement, I am grateful. When I look at myself, these days, I see unlimited possibility and a renewed sense of knowing that the path I have chosen is taking me in the right direction. The Self I set aside and had forgotten about for so long is being set free through the pleasure of a relationship rooted in friendship, trust and authenticity. I am happy to be living in a world where it is definitely okay to be ME !!!! Delighted, indeed
