My 6 year old son was suspended for 2 days today. He never does anything to anyone and stays to himself. He was standing in the lunch line and some boy turned around to yell at him because he was breathing down his neck. Anyone who knows Joey knows he keeps to himself because of his condition. I talked to him and found out he felt threatened by the boy so he shoved him to move him away. The boy then fell and smacked his head off something and has a goose egg so Joey gets suspended bc this boy had a goose egg, are you kidding me. He never misbehaves and you give him such a harsh punishment. Wow! Yet my girls come home daily with the same kids hitting them and shoving them and nothing gets done. That is bull. Just because the boy got a goose egg it required harsher punishment. So as long as the other person dont get marks on them you can do whatever but if a mark gets left its suspension. Even though its a first time offense. Give me a break. Elmira city school district is a joke!!!!!
