My 80-year old mother who is in my home town of Mlang had a bad fall the other day (Friday) and got a fracture at her right radial bone near the wrist. She was brought by my father and a relative to CEM Hospital yesterday (Saturday) and was admitted. A cast was applied at her right forearm. She stayed overnight at the hospital. Today (Sunday) she was discharged home with a smile on her face for the following reasons: she no longer suffer from sharp pain when the broken bone pokes her muscle tissues; she was able to see other patients and witnessed them on Christ; she was able to sleep good; and the most important of all the owner of the hospital Dr. Ervin Castillo waived his professional fee. My mothers final hospital bill was only P600 or $13. Yes, thirteen dollars for one day confinement to the best hospital in town. Shout out to Dr. Ervin Castillo for taking care of my mother. Mabuhay!!!
