My 87 year old father just got phone scammed. Someone called him a bit ago using the name of my youngest daughter, his granddaughter. The voice was muffled and weird but she? said that she was in an accident and was at the police station. My dad asked her if she had called her mom and she? stated no, she wanted to call him. My dad then said, well why are you calling me? She? said, because I only get one phone call. My dad then said, well, what can I do? and then the connection was lost. Both my girls are fine but I was a basket case for a while. So who does something like this? She knew my dads number, she knew his granddaughters name. What is wrong with people? To scam an elderly man who is frail and whose wife is debilitated with Alzheimer Disease. I am livid!
