When I was alone and lost, You came to me as a light, When I was weak, you gave me strength, When I was strong, you gave me the courage, When I was insulted, you shielded me, When I was hurt, you protected me, When I had problems, you took it as yours and solved it for me, When I was bankrupt, you supported me, When I was hungry, you gave me to eat, When I was struggling for my degree, you were my moral support, When I had my heartbreak, you were the one who healed it, We were no blood relation, We were not even from the same community, We had a bond, a bond beyond reason and society, You always knew I dont believe in the Gods of Vedas, Bibles and Quran.. You were my Goddess, best friend, my mother, an example to my children and family about friendship, but I never was with you during your last struggling days, I was an escapist, avoiding you, unable to withstand the pain I heard you were going through. I know you will understand.. I know you are watching me, I know you will forgive me, I saw you in your four lovely daughters.. I will never find a friend of 28 years again... but do watch me from wherever you are I need your presence... My life will not be the same again.... Rest in Peace Sanju Jain...
