My Brothers and even ex Mla of Bandipora Usman Majeed raised their their voice against ill health of Bandipora-Srinagar road........Niz am sahib on inauguration day of Lic office in Bandipora made it in public........ Actually an Agreement between NHPC and State-Central govt made a proposal..NHPC sighned MOU on which it is clearly written that NHPC will maintain and widen the Srinagar- Bandipora road upto Gurez.Thus state govt stoped funds for this purpose. Former DC of Bandipora informed MLA Nizam sahib that NHPC issued meagre amount of 51crore which includes raod and drainage maintenance plus compansation to gurez and matrigam people who gave their land for power project..So this is not enough.Atlast there was meeting between Former Dc Bandipora,Mla Nizam sahib,Nazir Gurezi and NHPC officers.Nizam sahib hailed MLa Nazir Gurezi that he raised voice in Meeting for Bandipora people.In this meeting it was agreed that 251 Crore will be given for Bandipora roads plus compensation.It was responsibility of Former DC Bandipora to collect the same amount as soon as possible.But NHPC is still giving dates.......For mer DC Manzoor Ahmad left Bandipora with out this work done.Mla Nizam sahib is fighting still for it.However due to little help of state money Beacon authority is on wear and tear process of roads.So how will u now blame MLA Nizam sahib...
