My Buff Orpington has bumble foot again in both feet, despite having surgery by local vet this summer. It cost £240 at the time for nothing. There is no specialist avian vet in Hertfordshire that I could find. Not surprised they didnt cure her as she had to refer to a book to know what to do! Im thinking of trying turmeric to try and cure it but really they need cutting out again - I dont want to do this myself as its so painful for her, and Im scared will do it wrong. Im in Hertfordshire/North London area, I,love my big buff girl dearly had her from pullet but I cant justify spending that sort of money again to no avail. Can anyone help/advise where/what I can do for her? She is not very lame at moment but am aware it wont cure itself and I want to try and save her from pain and eventual euthanasia if I can.
