My CHASING MERCY by Stacy Claflin review: I’m not normally a paranormal reader but Stacy has changed me! Chasing Mercy takes you through so many different emotions. Grief, true friendship, love, shock... Stacy’s writing style makes you feel like you are Mercy. You can feel everything she is going through. Without giving too much away, I will tell you a little about it. Mercy is a recent high school graduate. While all of her friends go on one last class trip, her and her family decides to go on a family trip. On the way to the airport, her family is involved in a tragic wreck. Killing her parents and two sisters. She is the sole survivor. Leaving the hospital she decides to go to her family’s service. This is where things change. She notices a guy staring at her while attending the service. He won’t look away. Matter-of-fact, he comes closer. No one else seems to notice him. She dubs him “Creepy”. Perfect name btw. She leaves the service and tries to out run Creepy. Why is he chasing her? He even shows up at the gravesite. Is he a reaper and is mad that she “got away”? She decides to go home. Maybe he can’t find her there. After a while of mourning, she is standing at her bedroom window and notices they have new neighbors. And one of them appears to be around her age and he is gorgeous. He kind of reminds her of her Dad. (You’ll have to read to know why). They introduce themselves. His name is Kit! Does Creepy find her? What does he want with her? Does she go after him? What about Kit? Do they fall in love or do they become enemies? Anyway, I really can’t tell you much more because it will ruin the whole book. Just know that Kit’s hobby is paranormal investigation. If you want a shocker and a book that you will never be able to guess what is going to happen next, this is the book for you. I was completely shocked by this book. Normally, I can guess what is going to happen and predict the endings. THIS BOOK IS COMPLETELY UNPREDICTABLE. Searching For Mercy to be release in the near future. ~Maggie
