My Cambodian Visa expired a couple of months ago, but would love - TopicsExpress

My Cambodian Visa expired a couple of months ago, but would love to visit this country again if given a chance(& money). No! I am not sounding like a typical white dude in his 30s, who had seen poverty for the first time and decides to help mankind by joining unheard NGOs from third worlds. From a country like India, I have already been introduced to the concept. Cambodia is so different in so many ways, yet resembles India in some. With architectural wonders such as Angkor Wat, Beng Malea - which used to be Lord Vishnus temples, this country is rich in culture, for a few, it might resemble India. There is a deep rooted connection between Cambodia and India - Hindu Kings converted to Buddhists for unknown reasons, Hindu temples become Wats with the advent of Buddhist rulers, their adaptation of Hindu Epic Ramayan - all these make you feel at home. Cambodia is not a rich country as such. You may feel that vibrance within the confines of Siem Reap - Gigantic buildings with Casinos, expensive imported Cars, white skin on every street, a couple of brown Indians at selected Indian restaurants, fish spa for a dollar, the most expensive Cambodian beer for $1(oh yeah!!!!), Biriyani for $5 - Siem Reap has something for everyone. https://flickr/photos/krisghariharan/9708376616/in/set-72157635441899683
