My Christmas pony arrived last night. Requesting Designs...aka Lilly. (State of the Art x Beach Boy x Warkanson) She is 8 months old and lost quite a bit of weight on her cross country trip. A huge **Thank You** to Trish the owner of Crofton Horse Transport for rescuing her in Cochrane Alberta at the last moment yesterday morning early. She was stuck there with no transport, on her way from Manitoba. Lilly came with Trish in a nice big box stall...hay and water served! Trish you are the best!!! Lilly is eating the alfalfa/orchard grass mix hay well...and thinking of having a few oats. Our 14% protein pellets she so far has turned her nose up at...sigh. She got wormed this morning and my Vet is bring her 5 way booster this afternoon. She hasnt had a lot of handling so quite shy but seems to like human attention. When I can get her cleaned up, and some weight on her I will post more pictures. She has a very heavy winter coat too. But for now here she is.
