This books lead female character had all of the slightly psychopathic charm as her characters in her other books, which is wonderful! There are no timid, mousy females for the Alpha Unit! Alanea has done it again. This book is a must read. I would definitely give this one 100 stars if i could. Meryn had me laughing so hard I cried and fell off my bed 4 times while reading this book. I laughed so much, my face hurt by the time I was done reading this. Loved it, finally a real life woman who is not a softy or a bad ass. The characters in this book are hysterical! Thank you, thank you, thank you! There were a couple of scenes where I almost peed. MADE MY DAY! Alanea Alder is beyond brilliant! Her imagination and creativity has no boundaries. (thank goodness for us readers!) To create an entire new world, that has shifters, vampires, witches and fey, that is unlike anything anyone has ever read about is amazing in todays world with so many paranormal books out there.
