My Creator Project 215/365 I heard a song by Point of Grace the other day and the first thing that came to mind was trees that have been wounded and healed over to grow and become mighty! I walk by trees that had HUGE cuts and gashes broken limbs and leaves stripped away. But then comes Spring and God renews them. He heals the trees but leaves the scar to show how merciful He is in restoring what was damaged and broken. Some people are like that as well. They have been thru a lot in their lives, but move on to be very productive for God, for good causes, a stronger member in their family and the family of God! Heal the Wound = Point of Grace I used to wish that I could rewrite history I used to dream that each mistake could be erased Then I could just pretend I never knew the me back then I used to pray that You would take this shame away Hide all the evidence of who Ive been But its the memory of The place You brought me from That keeps me on my knees And even though Im free Heal the wound but leave the scar A reminder of how merciful You are I am broken, torn apart Take the pieces of this heart And heal the wound but leave the scar
