My Dad, 96, is still in the hospital. He was retaining fluids, huge amounts. This caused his shortness of breath, his wheezing, his tiredness, and lack of energy. Fluid levels are dropping at a good rate. Hes in much better spirits but peeved he cant get on the internet with his laptop and was grumbling about the emails piling up. Many tests, oxygen treatment, x-rays, echo-cardiogram... The fluids around his heart have made it difficult to get a decent look at his heart. This means theyll likely keep him another day. Fun: One of his nurses, middle aged woman, knows about the SCA, played at ACW re-enactment in Illinois. Small world. Were all hanging in there!
