My Day 6 realization of what I could/should be doing for others is about admitting I was wrong, and making things right. I thought very hard about doing this publicly, but have decided it is appropriate....so here it is: Dear Todd Lightcap Jr.: I havent always been fair where you are concerned. Actually I never took the time to give you a chance. While I have no acceptable excuse for my actions I can admit now that I let my mind and emotions become so clouded with the feeling of you taking my baby girl was taking the biggest part of my Heart.....my very purpose in life. But I was SO, SO WRONG in every way!!!!! You are a good man, and more importantly an Exceptional husband. I have not one doubt that you Love my Meredith beyond words, and I could ask for nothing more than that. ...THANK YOU for making her so happy, I Love You! This post was not meant to make Todd feel Thankful that I finally admitted my selfishness....I shared this in public in hopes that if there is anyone else struggling with something similar, this could give them the encouragement to do the same. This opportunity was given to me last weekend by Bonnie Knight......she Truly showed me the real meaning of kindness and reminded me that we are ALL Human and we make mistakes, but it is what we do about those mistakes that Truly defines who we are as people.
