My Dear FB Friends, please let me share you my Pinoy pride: I found a video on the internet while looking for my sons supposed picture in Shanghai. He just came from a two day visit in Tacloban after which he will go back to South East Asia to continue his research on the Indian Epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. He is presently working on his third sequel of the Ramayana adaptations. My Fellow Filipinos, although the image shown is just a dot of the years of work of the playwright, the students and staff of the Universitys Theatre, Dance, and Music Department, I feel a great sense of pride in knowing that Sitayana the Second part that followed Ramayana Laar which showed our National Dance TInikling, contributed in making the year 2013 of the College of William and Mary a great year. Thank you very much Mister President for recognizing the value of the play. Indeed they are not many universities in the US who present new and original adaptations of this magnitude.
