My Dear Friends: A Wooden Deck is a Wonder This place in the house, Residential Wooden Deck, is an essential part of the almost majority homes in the United States. It is usually attached to the kitchen or lounge or any other room depending on the need such as sunshine or sitting area in both seasons i.e., winter and summer. According to an article on Wikipedia:- “In architecture, a deck is a flat surface capable of supporting weight, similar to a floor, but typically constructed outdoors, often elevated from the ground, and usually connected to a building. The term is a generalization of decks as found on ships.” And “Wood or timber decking can be used in a number of ways: as part of garden landscaping, to extend living areas of houses, and as an alternative to stone based features such as patios.” In two pictures, I’m with my friends at the Paul Simon’s House in, Illinois. Paul Simon was a Democrat US Senator and once ran for the Presidential nomination against Michael Dukakis in 1988. He invited us over a luncheon at his farm house/ranch in the town of Troy in Madison County. In another picture, I’m with my classmates at Prof. Barry Tadlock’s house in Athens, Ohio. He also invited us over a cookout party. In the last Picture, I’m with ‘Aba Jan,’ Chaudhary Fateh Muhammad Aziz, the grandfather of my wife, a renowned civil lawyer of Pakistan, and the most dignified and honorable person I ever met in my life, at Attleboro, Massachusetts, with Shuja Aziz (son of Ch. F.M. Aziz) and other relatives and friends. NOTE: Constructing a ‘Wooden Deck’ is a wonderful idea who wants to build a new house. I will definitely have such a nice ‘deck’ at my new house.
