My Facebook friend, Charles Kellerman, originally from Bristol now retired in Florida, sent me these photos to share with my Elkhart friends. Heres what he says about the photos: Please find included two photos that I suspect were taken in Elkhart. I also suspect these may have been taken around the 1958 time period that the Homecoming pictures were taken. When I was young I stayed frequently at my Uncle and Aunt’s farm in Lutz/White Pigeon, Michigan. Just about every weekend we took the pilgrimage to Elkhart to visit the stores there. I remember WW Wilts, touted as one of the most modern means of grocery shopping. Will post something about that at the Group site.
