My Faith In Christ I walk with the love and strength of Christ His love has no price We all know that Christ paid the price When Our Father made the ultimate sacrifice I’m so glad that He arrived Into my heart— I dived Into His arms and I cried Myself a swimming pool during this emotional high It felt like I was being baptised No more am I scuttling around like mice Through the faith in Jesus Christ I can move mountains and touch the sky heights He gives me the mental strength to survive In Jesus name I feel revived And no more should I feel deprived The LORD keeps me energized As a child of God I have rights Especially when I’m walking through the right sights Over the building sites With no fear or frights With the armour of Christ The LORD lightens me with His acceptance As I get through all the trials and assessments I serve a loving God who’s full of love and fairness I will continue to walk with Christ through times of reflectance My faith gives me a higher sense of awareness Our Father blesses me with His attendance As well as His love and His correctness I am one of those dependants Who— like the other descendants Always feels blessed and breathless Without my faith I would be contentious As well as feel weak and defenceless His guidance upon me keeps me conscientious My faith and my beliefs Will not blow me away like leaves I will ask God and not Jeeves To detangle me from my emotional weaves Which gets me into knots with my beaded bangle sleeves But with the LORD in His arms I feel relieved Due to the shower of blessings I’ve received With Christ— life is so much easier to understand and conceive He also helps me to open my eyes and perceive I’m in a position to retrieve My life back without feeling deceived Father God is always there for me to relieve No more do I have the need to bereave Copyright © 2012, 2013 René Olivierre all rights reserved (Taken from the book L.I.F.E. —Living In Faith Everyday); written by René Olivierre and published by The Olivierrean Experience (T.O.E.)
