My Friend Dave Says: Something to consider; this is for all you folks out there who would like to see a truly reformed earth with no more wars and all the petty bickering that goes on here. Hungering and thirsting for righteousness and being committed to God and the good is the proper attitude no doubt about it but what if this world is designed to be repellant and nasty for a good reason? My Krishna Conscious friend Dave is always reminding me that if life in the material world is made too pleasant and accommodating no one will ever want to leave. Ah, ha does this make any sense? Well, it does if Dave is right and this is basically a prison planet for rebellious souls whose actual goal is to see through the deception of this material world and return to their spiritual home. From this perspective there is a positive aspect to our world being as plainly evil as it can be, because the worse it is the easier it is to identify as such and more people will be unable to resist God’s calling them home. Dave says that since our stay in the material world is temporary it is like staying in a motel and it doesn’t make much sense to put a lot into in sprucing it up for the long haul. So as we see our world spinning out of control with evil people at the helm committing horrendous crimes against God and humanity we need to realize that we are merely reaping what we have sown in our misguided attempt to make the world in our image. And the upside of our disastrous plan for the planet is the realization in individual souls that we are indeed living in an evil world just as Jesus said two thousand years ago. And the answer to our dilemma is to reestablish our relationship with our creator Father God and return to our eternal home in spiritual bodies nurtured on the Word’s of God.
