My Friend & Location management Business Partner Ron Adams Died last night. We had started Hero Locations in 1980s. And we did commercials, videos , film and MOWs. We had up to 8 scouts working for us in the early days ! And dam it was fun and alot of work.....We had a fun time doing projects with many many funny stories....Like picking up larry hagmen and he was dressed in a Indian head dress and drunk off his ass lol... Or tom Cruise wanted a malt blended in a verified 1950 malt blender.....Or having Ryan Oneal yell at me because I asked him to move his Rolls...DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM ? ...Or having an earthquake cause Ron and I to rework all 30 days of a shoot in 2 days !!!!! ..We worked with Michael Bay, David Fincher, David Lynch, Haskell Wexler, Vlimos sigmund, Propaganda films, Tim Clauson , All the Majors, all the commercial houses, alot of still photographers, Tony Scott , Ridley scott, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Prince, Sheila E, Pink Floyd , Tisch & Avent ( yeah the same tisch who just won a few super bowls and produced Forest Gump).....our list of clients goes on and on we where good at location scouting and management .....Ron kept the company going after we split up and he kept the name going......And continued doing projects up till he fell ill. Ron had a great Eye and sense for locations .....And Thank you for all the good times. Ron and I went to dinner Last year and it was funny how rates had soared and how the unions took over....But I was glad to see Ron, we laughed alot about funny stories and situations and we talked about our mentor C. Robert Holloway ...Who gave us our break in the film Business. Live life the fullest in the now...>Thanks Ron and condolences to family and friends.
