My God story for the week. I didnt realize how favorite I was! For several years, I wished for a certain leather semi-circular couch that Costco sold. They were very expensive and I knew I could never convince Allen that it was worth it. Theyd come and go in stock here in Anchorage and Id wish away...but it wasnt happening. Several years ago, I got the Costco e-mail sale event for September. There was that couch for nearly $1,000 less, but still way out of reach, especially if it had to be shipped. The sale was good for 30 days so I would go and look at the e-mail on occasion and just sigh. On the very last day of the month at about 11 PM, I looked at it one last time. I even tried to figure out what shipping would be because they had all the weights and measures online. And in my heart, I said, Ill never have a couch like that. *sigh*. And I heard the Lord say, But, youve never asked me. I was taken aback and replied, Lord - Im so sorry to be complaining. So as of now, Im officially asking. You know exactly what I want. And that was that. First thing in the AM, Heather texted me and said YOUR COUCH IS ON CRAIGSLIST for $800!. (She had no idea of my exchange with the Lord the night before.) Of course, it was in my house by that night! Fast forward to last week when I put the couch on Craigslist because it was really just too big for my space. Someone asked if the cushions came off. They were attached so securely I had no idea that they did. It was when I removed the cushions and spotted the HUGE label under one identifying it as my COSTCO leather couch that I was dumbfounded! Not only did I get a couch like the one I wanted (what Id surmised all these years), He had given me THE ONE I wanted - the very next day. Like I said, I never realized how favorite I was. :-) (Now Im going to hashtag - for the first time - because its just THAT cool!) #favorite!
