My July 4 involved hanging out at the Mai Wah museum, since this is traditionally the busiest “regular” day we have all season, and we did have 20 visitors (that’s a lot for the Mai Wah). Of course Quarry Brewing was on the way home (and anyway, it’s Friday). The alley behind the Quarry isn’t beautiful, and often enough it takes someone like me to see the interest that’s always there. Tonight, it was a no-brainer, sitting out there with Bill Nokes when Chad Okrusch comes out with his guitar for a low-sun cool-breeze poetic musical enlightenment.
