My Letter to the President. Dear Mr. President, - TopicsExpress

My Letter to the President. Dear Mr. President, First off Happy Birthday. The reason I am writing is I am very concerned with how your administration is handling Race Relations specifically Congressman Rangel. As I monitor all news agencies i am led to believe that you feel his racist remarks recently have no merit yet you feel it is important to publicly address reality TV. Mr. President our country is starting to have a racial divide one in which you can address. Racism and bigotry have no place in our society and by not Condemning Congressmen Rangels is infact condoning his actions. You say that reality TV is sending a wrong message to our youth. What message are you sending? That it is ok to be racist against whites and hispanics but it is venously outrageous against blacks? You are the leader of this great country. One of which i have served personally for 23 years and continue to serve as a civilian. You are the Democratic Leader of our party and it is your DUTY to address this issue. Sincerely, Pete Conklin
