My Leviwand Origin Story In August of 2011, after several months of spinning rope dart, I was watching a long string leviwanderer and realized Holy crap, its just like a wonky rope dart! I started playing with them, ended up purchasing one at August Wildfire that year. A month later, at a pub in London, my backpack filled with my fire rope dart, Flowtoys rope dart, fire leviwand, duvetyne, fuel dump, and fuel was stolen from below my feet. I realized that I could either rebuy or rebuild, and the latter seemed more intriguing. I started learning how to work with Kevlar and began building rope darts, poi, and fire leviwands. Inspired by Lux Luminous and a few other magnificent spinners Ive seen, over the past year Ive migrated away from treating the leviwand as a wonky rope dart and playing more with the techy weird side of wanding. Its been a great ride. I love the leviwand community. You guys are so supportive and caring. Its a pleasure to spend time with you guys every day here.
