My MILO Trip Begins: At the Butuan City airport waiting on the Philippine Airlines flight thats going to be an hour late making my new arrival time in Manila about 10:30AM. Im really looking forward to the Carbo Loading Party tonight at the Mall of Asia Music Hall to have a chance to meet some of my FB friends and old acquaintances. Only 3 days until the 42km final by which time Im hoping my stressed right calf muscle will be close enough to 100% so as not to interfere with running the distance. I havent run for 10 days while letting it recuperate, but have stuck with walking, stretching and light exercising. I will start out slower than planned on the big morning and just see how it goes. Like they say...no guts, no glory... right? Wishing everyone making their final preparations for Sunday much success. And that includes those running the shorter distances, as well as everyone participating in other events around the country. God bless and run safe (Y)
