My Mai Ling had to go to the vet last night. She had started feeling really under the weather and looking preggers (that would have been impossible since shes spayed). I was a bit frantic worried about cancer given that she had a carcinoma taken off her leg back in Oct. And losing Max and Trucker both last year to cancer also fed into the fear. The vet found her belly was full of fluid. They drained it off and well have to see how long before it builds up again. Could be cancer or could be heart failure. Neither is a great diagnosis. But shes home and happy to be with her mom ... and back to snuggling in bed with me at night.
