My Mason Jar Moment-4/9/2014... April of 2000 I had a mastectomy for treatment of breast cancer followed by chemotherapy and radiation. It was a tough journey but I am so thankful to be here. I survived...my Mama and my sister, both cancer victims, did not and I miss them so deeply...just one more hug, one more smile. They were two reasons that kept me fighting! My dad went home before both of them. I hated not having hair and pictures were rare but I found these in albums my Mom had and hope maybe the happiness in these photos will give hope to others to keep fighting.It was so good to be home with everyone, to have survived....the smiles are sincere, and full of love. Hug your loved ones super close tonight and be thankful for each and every moment He gives you with those you cherish.
