My Mum Dolly Died at the age of 50 from Cancer I was 21, the day my poor Dad Tommy told me & my Brother Steve the devastating news we all died a little inside, we were told she had 6 Months to live, Dolly held onto life for about 18 Months (3 times longer than predicted) we watched her decline it was sad beyond belief, her last Months were spent in our house with a live in nurse, one night she asked to see me on my own she told me to live my life as though Im living it for her & she gave me a gift a Spiritual coat of protection to deal with lifes ups & downs its served me well all my life ( Im human I falter but my mum always gives me a sign Im not alone) only recently whilst living in Ibiza have I realised the power of this gift, the night Dolly empowered me was the night she passed ( she chose when to leave her body) my Dad woke me & my brother, with the news your mums gone boys shes no longer in pain, we paid our last respects to an amazing woman, I kissed my mum for the last time & withdrew to my room, I had a glass door to my bedroom I saw mums tiny body being carried down the stairs, I never came out of my room for what might of been days, I would not go to the Chapel or rest to see my mum, it was the first time Id unknowingly used the gift she embedded in me, I only have images of my mum beautiful happy & yes healthy, I just dont ( cant) focus on any image of my mum in pain I just dont see the Cancer, this is the GIFT it has been a burden sometimes because I see the good in people & sadly not all people are good & they use that gift against me, but I forgive them & I Thank my Mum for what she gave me & for the reminders when needed RIP Dolly Harris ( Bear)
