My NDP colleagues and I took control of the House of Commons - TopicsExpress

My NDP colleagues and I took control of the House of Commons agenda today to force a debate on missing and murdered Indigenous women! It was the first time in recent memory that an opposition party was able to take on a majority government and win. This is an example of what happens when a strong opposition with dedicated MPs show up for work and do their jobs for Canadians. While its sad that it took arcane procedural tactics to force the Conservatives into a much-needed debate about a National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, I am so proud of my NDP colleagues to be able to finally debate an issue the Conservatives are all too happy to ignore.
