My New Theory: Smartphone Battery Strength Ive recently noticed a significant correlation between battery strength of smartphones the the desire to communicate. It seems that when I am talking or texting someone who doesnt seem to be that eager to be communicating with me there is a notably higher chance that persons smartphone battery is about to be really low, or out of juice, or about to die, or at 1%. In fact, I have noticed this linkage often enough that there has to be some real relationship between the persons desire to communicate with me and their battery. The reverse seems true as well. When someone wants to communicate with me, they never seem to be about to run out of battery. Maybe, just maybe, smartphone batteries are like mood rings in a way. Next time I am talking or texting someone who tells me their phone battery is about to die, Im going to mention this relationship and suggest that if they just pretend to want to talk/text me they will likely see more longevity in their phones battery life. Thats right! My theory is that instead of needing all these energy saving apps that dime the brightness and turn off apps you arent using, all we really may need is a little attitude adjustment about who we are talking to and texting.
