My Pedestrianic Political Reasoning for Cross River State. When - TopicsExpress

My Pedestrianic Political Reasoning for Cross River State. When time for electioneering comes knocking around, you hear some sycophantic joblessers ranting around Facebook telling us of the nature of leaders we should elect. The question is where will you have the opportunity of electing that desired leader? Are you going to be a delegate in any of the primaries? Even if you are among the selected few, how independent are you going to be? Most times like this, we only have to chose either the devil or the deep blue sea as a result of an often failing primaries. The delegates have already traded the future of the state or constituency for what they can personally get at the moment. No politician really value the electorates the way the electorate actually value themselves. The equation has not just balanced thats why we feel it as though there is an intense crisis ongoing in the state politically. Interests have not yet been reconciled as to who gets what, when and how. Once that is done all of us clamoring and shouting hulabaloo will be humbled. I am yet to see that true and sincere candidate that actually has the state at heart. Not one that is ready to buy the state from a corrupt crop of delegate neither am I talking of one waiting for incumbents anointing so as to consolidate the milipedic strides (if any) in the state. Perhaps I am also not considering that who is banking on the presidency to plant him on us. To worsen our woes. Also most of our socio-cultural groups that were suppose to have a force, are now campaign groups in disguise given script to play on the electioneering so as to make the public know they exist. And not to be surprise seeing them one morning in an elective position. Who then will be the voice of the common men like us? Looking at the centrality of central politics, I often ask myself what is the difference between Victor Ndoma-Egba and Owan Enoh for senate? The both guys are in National Assembly for crying aloud. The only difference is the colour of the seats and carpets in the National Assembly. Whether Red or Green it doesnt matter. Some persons base their arguments on stinginess. I want to state here categorically that I have met the both guys and none of them has ever been benevolent to say take. Owan Enoh was even at a closer range. So if the stinginess is because you want personal money then, you are wrong. Simply because one does not give you personal money does not make him bad. What we should be asking now is when did they entered the House and when will they be leaving the House? My advice to us, use your time wisely and stop the sychophantism I will want to stop here for the now. Abang, Tawo Titus.
