My Perspective : Thailand is not the center of the world. Why Thai people think that the universal ideas is not applicable for Thailand. So that is why Thai people will hardly adopt the globalization or universal ideas or theories. How can they make us to have such that idea? They just always say that this is Thailand, we will do it in our own Thai Way. I heard so much about how we have been trying to do thing in our own Thai Way. What is exactly Thai Way? I am not sure what it is. But what I am sure that Thai Way is the way that we really do it in our own way. We do not listen to anybody. Is this what we want? It is a kind of no principle way, no practices or Ad hoc. If we live in the society or system that has no principle, what it is going to happen when people do not listen to each other. There is no rules to control the people. So they would fight each other. Recently, the argument about the verdict of constitutional court are spread over the news and social media. Some argue that the law professor who graduate from the western countries do not know Thai law and those knowledge is not applicable to Thai Society. I can sense that this is Thailand only. I feel whether Thailand is so unique like no other universal knowledge can be applied in Thailand. It must be only Thai scholar or Thai knowledge. Are we running still? I feel like that we are running but in fact, we are stand still, not going anywhere. This is a kind of narrow minded thinking. If we do not open our mind and change the mindset of our society. Even though our country are not closed but we are closing up our mind and thought. We are denying the changes in world situation. We are rejecting learning system of society. Do not ruin the system with just a quick way to solve the claimed problem. This is the fundamental problem of this country.
