My Public Prayer for President Michael Chilufya Sata- Lord I pray for my father, our national father, His excellence the president. Even as he has gone to recalibrate and rejuvenate. I pray for him to be replenished. Restore unto him the joy of the presidency. Grant him courage to set new presidencies. Eliminate from his life demagogues; demagogues like the ones who misled Kaunda. Chase away huligans; like the ones who betrayed Rupiah. Tranquilise out from around him thieves; thieves like the ones who surrounded Chiluba. Finally Lord destroy hangers-ons; hangers-ons like the ones who never advised Mwanawasa to slow down. Grant this president wisdom. Remind him of what he means to 13million people. Let him return with the focus of an eagle, the humility of a dove and the venom of a real king cobra. God of gods and Lord of lords. This is not a partisan prayer but a compassionate care for this virgin land called Zambia.
