And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:8-9a A demon spirit was buffeting Paul, but the grace of God was his strength. The word strength is dunamis, the word from which we derive the term dynamite. It means inherent, supernatural, miraculous power. In this context, the grace of God is the power of Christ. In other words, God says, “My power is sufficient for you. My strength or my power is made complete or perfect in your weakness.” Paul received this revelation, saying, Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (v. 9b). ** Prayer for Today ------------------------------------------------------------ Father, I magnify your name and give you thanks for your dynamic, supernatural, miraculous power that shatters every obstacle satan can put in my way!
