My Take on Quotes: “Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself”. –George Bernard Shaw: ----------------------------------------------------------------- Does the above mentioned quote cause your eyebrows to frown? I was thinking the first part was the correct position that is ‘Life is about finding yourself’; meaning you understand who you are. Perhaps it might be a difficult process for an ordinary person to understand who he is other than his name and other physical features that identify him. On a deeper level of thinking there is a person apart from his name and other physical appearances. Therefore, it is understood that there is a need to look inside to identify your inner self who he is and the quest for finding the person inside is a process that everyone has to do as his own. Here, I think there is a difference between finding yourself and creating yourself. The question is how you create yourself. When we analyze the question if the creation has to take place, there has to be something. Here in this situation there is nothing? It has to be created out of pure imagination. There is no prior knowledge of the person who you are creating. Then how are you going to model something which you do not know what is good and what is not good as the time passes by.
