My Vision Board for a dog kennel area :) Dont know when or if it might happen - but if I build it they will come, right? LOL Plus itll be a nice area for our own dogs for when we want to run out of town for the day :) Im hoping for 5 kennels - indoor/outdoor attached to one side of the garage. Each kennel would be 5ft x 5ft on the inside and have a connecting outdoor run of 5ft x 10ft for each dog. Then itll be covered with a roof/lean to area extending from off the garage. As well as an extra 16ft x 26 ft fenced in play yard for each dog to get rotated into to stretch their legs. The indoor kennels will be made from fencing and wood (like the picture shows), while the outdoor dog runs will be made from wood pallets (stained a sequoia red color to make them look nice) with chainlink fence as an added security. Being that this is off the side of our garage it makes it an easy access to the dogs 24/7 ! And a small finishing touch I have in my brain already is to have a dry erase board on each of the kennels to identify the dogs name and any medical concerns/cautions etc.... and color code each dry erase board with colored duct tape for each major concern i.e Yellow for Caution may nip - Red for Medical Alert - Blue for jumper etc.... now to get this started and get the husband on board :) Flying M Farm Kennels in the making!! :) Hopefully.
