My amazing daughter Shade turns 18!!! So I thought I might start off the celebration of her life with some fun facts that you all may not know about this remarkable girl (because you all are not lucky enough to spend every day with her:) 1.She is the most empathetic person I know 2.She is blind to social class 3.She has her future wedding planned already 4.Her love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation, and quality time 5.She makes me laugh every day. 6.She has so many things in common with her step-dad, it is hard to believe there is no blood relation 7.She can sing! 8.She loves family traditions. 9.Her British accent (although the practice period nearly killed me) is actually quite good 10.She wants to work in an orphanage holding and loving motherless children 11.She hates the part of a birthday party when people gather to watch her open gifts 12.She “plates” each meal at home to be as beautiful as possible; says it tastes better that way 13.She seeks council when she is unsure. 14.She loves all my favorite movies :) 15.She is the most thoughtful, nurturing, caring, careful, attentive, selfless, and understanding big sister imaginable. 16.She wants everything to be special, not ordinary. 17.She loves the snow. 18.She is happy to learn from the mistakes of others instead of insisting on learning from her own.
