My attention has been drawn to the continuous radio announcement purportedly signed by the Deputy Chairman of the party and the Secretary of the PDP displaying large scale ignorance by substituting my resignation as the State Legal Adviser to Suspension and appointing an acting State Legal Adviser to an Elective position. My first observation is the level of degeneration to which the PDP in Ekiti State (which has a constitution) has reduced itself. Very bluntly, I need to observe that the Deputy Chairman and the Secretary do not possess the powers they are arrogating to themselves. When ignorant people are put in positions, this is what you get. They need to be reminded that the office of the State Legal Adviser is an Elective and not an appointive position. Besides, the letter was not addressed to neither of the duo. Further, there is a sitting Chairman of the party in place to whom the letter was addressed. Further still, the hurry at which this ignorant duo is acting without the discussion of the matter at the State Working Committee Level explains the gross ignorance of both the Deputy Chairman and the fake Secretary. One is not surprised because the employment of Brawl over brain which the Deputy Chairman possesses in large quantity is common knowledge. And of course, we all know the deep struggle of the Secretary of the Party to ascribe knowledge to himself – which he lacks. When you claim to have a Ph. D which you do possess, when the son of a hunter claims he is the son of a General in the Nigerian Army and, when you have a dismissed Lecturer become the Secretary of a Party; definitely, something has gone wrong. Every common-sensical human being saw and read a paid advert concerning my resignation. It was not edited. And then suddenly, two buffoons are acting the un-intelligent script of their master – The guru in matters like this. What I know is that a Tree does not make a forest. If a few people think that Party Candidacy is the same thing as being Governor of a State, then we need a re-think. June 2014 is around the corner when Truth will prevail over falsehood. Rt. Hon.
