My attention is focused once again tonight upon the love of God and the extent of that love He has directed towards us. I find it interesting that the same word love that is used for Gods feelings for us is the same word we use so freely about our own personal relationships. But one day we will see the vast expanse between those two concepts of love! John 3:16 simply uses the word loved with the little two-letter English word so inserted before it; God SO loved! Just how much is SO? I suggest it is a word with immeasurable scope when it is placed between God and loved! I use to own one of those wiener dogs as some people call them. Her name is Pasha and she is under my arm in my profile picture for my main facebook site. I know she loved me so much because she showed me every day!! But then I talk about Gods love for me and I still say He SO loves me I am sure looking forward to heaven when God will give us a glimpse of what SO means in relationship to His love for us.
