My baby girl chased one too many squirrels today... some how, she managed to slice and puncture her chest open. Trav took her to the vet and they THANKFULLY squeezed her in, even though they were booked and had to cancel some appointments. My apologies to those people that may have been inconvenienced, but its the little things that matter, and their little inconvenience may have saved her life. She has stitches and drainage tubes now, and we gave to watch her and carry her up and down the stairs to go pee... so were not out of the woods yet. Her wound is pretty big, but thankfully it did not go past her muscles. Also, with all the bad stuff going on lately in the world I just want to say... next time you are inconvenienced, step back and take a deep breath, and think.... maybe its for a good reason. Maybe someone needs more attention than I do right now. And be happy you helped.
