My bare feet patted against the ground as I ran toward the stables. Soon I was stopped. My mother blocked my path. Where are you going dearest child? She asked her voice was full of warning because she knew the elves had arrived. I looked at my dirty feet and patchwork dress. Sure I had noble clothes but I never truly cared for such things. I looked my my older brother Aragorn who stood beside my mother so properly I felt sick. He was the age of ten and I, four years younger. Aragorn though, was the hope of Rivendell. I heard Legolas was here mama and I was going to see him. I said in a sad tone hoping she would let me. She sighed.You have to change first, Elinore, then you can go and see him. But mama! I pleaded. No, Elinore, it is not very lady like of you to appear in front of our guest like this. I looked to my brother and made a face at him, then I took off running again. Run Elinore! He called out after me laughing. Aragorn! Our mother shouted at him and then back to me.Elinore come back here! But I was already gone.
