I would play a concerto for him during a lesson, and as usual, being the sweet man that he was, he would always compliment me on my work.... like oh, wonderful! Weipin, I am so very pleased with all ur progress, everything sounds terrific, great job!..........BUT, I think, ur phrasings were not too convincing, ur bow arm was not in control, and ur sound today was rather poor......... other than that, its great!...................I was left standing there, not sure whether I should cry or smile?! Or both at the same time?:)
