My best friend from high school Jacki Monico had to put her dog down today. He had been suffering with an inoperable cancer for six months and was unable to eat anymore. I did not know. This did not surprise me that this happened the same day Missy passed because some people are tied spiritually. You see many years ago, Jacki lost her brother, a few years later I lost my brother, then we both lost our fathers, then Jacki lost her closest sibling Joanne, and I lost my closest sibling John. We also both lost our first child and both of our mothers. So we are a remnant of who we were from when we first met. We now each have a few siblings left and one dog each. I told Jacki that we will not grieve for each other because we will probably die on the same day. Gods timing is very hard to figure out, but I know he loves us and that is what keeps me going.
