My blessings are measured best by those I have been blessed to meet. One of the most unforgettable was the real homeless black man who rolled down the sidewalk backwards to spend some time with me and Veronica, who was also black and playing homeless. We couldn’t understand really what he was saying, but we understood what he meant, “hey! How ya been? Good to see ya! Beautiful day aint it?” Then a couple both real homeless walked up and started hanging out with us too. Then another actor walked up, a white man in shirt, tie and suit. Our friend the old black man in the wheelchair asked if he could get a cup of coffee. (at this point security didn’t know who was the real homeless or the actors – so we were not allowed near the food and beverages.) The white actor walked in and came out with a cup of coffee and a banana. The old black man in the wheelchair was so happy, accepted the coffee and promptly handed me the banana, “ya gotta eat too”. “na I’m good thanks and passed it to the left.” Homeless man #5 tells his wife, “get that banana!”; which she did. They shared the banana and the old man in the wheelchair enjoyed his coffee and we all had a great time. That had to be the best coffee and banana ever. youtube/watch?v=KT6mlW8NlCU
