My boss Robert D. La Gesse said to me you have $25k to spend at SXSW... But then he added the catch: But you have to show sales went up by $75,000. Oh, so no blowing it on stupid things. I agree with Mark Cuban that buying swag that isnt used is lame (I just saw an article from him about things startups shouldnt do). Also just saw Julien Blin talking about how GoPro spends just about that much and gets a huge result. Nick Woodman is my hero. He spent that money on a race car instead. I have a bunch of ideas but I think I can find a way to increase sales, get everyone some Franklins BBQ, AND donate all that money to charity. It just takes some creative thinking and discipline. Heck, I became a Taylor Swift fan today after she spent a few grand, a few hours, and sent her fans some gifts. The video here has already been seen millions of times. I am pushing myself harder in 2015. To do what? To make something out of very little. I think we could start a movement for less that $25,000. And one that can show real ROI. What you think?
