My boy Oscar is not well. He is the most loving creature, I cant say that enough. Last night he woke at 3:15am vomiting bright red blood. That in itself is a pretty clear indicator theres a problem. The Vet says he is full of blood. He has blood in his lungs, blood in his urine. The Vet thinks he has Pneumonia too. There was no blood drawn, no x-rays taken. Oscar is the MOST uncooperative animal at the Vets. He was muzzled & placed in a towel, held by two women & was still able to get away from them all. The place looked like a blood bath, very traumatizing to Oscar & we humans. So, I brought him home. I want him with me. I have an oral med for his lungs, in case he does have pneumonia. The next day or two are critical to him. I have until Wednesday to decide what to do. The Vet was fairly confident any sort of diagnostic attempts would throw Oscar into cardiac arrest or he would suffocate on the blood in his lungs. Go big or go home...take no prisoners...THATs my Oscar.
